What started as a simple love for open land, fresh air, and hard work has grown into a place where families come to slow down and reconnect. This land wasn’t built overnight. It was shaped by early mornings, long days, and a whole lot of pride in doing things the right way. From caring for our animals to welcoming guests like family, everything here is rooted in honesty, hospitality, and respect for the land.

Gary Lightfoot - Owner/CEO

Legacy Longhorn Ranch and RV Resort is led by Gary Lightfoot who has been a business owner and entrepreneur for over 35 years. As such, Gary Lightfoot has an in-depth knowledge of running multiple types of businesses. Gary’s business knowledge includes managing and leading teams of people. Business knowledge includes management, leadership, accounting, Sales, Marketing and Operations. Gary owns and runs another business, Lightfoot Mechanical Services, which is a home service company that does HVAC, Plumbing and Electrical with over 100 employees, 90 Trucks and annual sales of over 20 million.
